City-Owned Building Targeted By Vandals
A structure owned by the City of Lawrenceburg fell victim to vandalism within the past few days.
The building targeted is a log cabin situated adjacent to a walking track between Jackson and Hicks Streets. Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that deputies were called to investigate around 4:15 Saturday afternoon.
Officers found that two exterior and one interior window had been broken, likely by fresh walnuts that were found lying inside the building.
Officers noted that all of the doors and windows were locked at the time the vandalism occurred.
Investigation into the matter is continuing at the present time.
